Because I don't see anyone burbling around in the water anymore. Fine day for it I must say.
Art Fairs are over with and I didn’t find one piece of wall art that really jumped out at me. I did find a booth called Sea of Glass that sold beautiful pieces of dichroic glass jewelry.
Artisans come from all over the nation for this show, but as it happens this glass shop hails from Manchester, which is roughly 30 minutes away. You can see some of their wares in their site’s gallery.
After much debate – I was restraining myself to one piece of jewelry - I ended up with one of the larger red pieces. I love the red color and the gold slash.

Oooo…shiny!
My brother, a friend of his, and myself went to see the Dear Friends – Music from Final Fantasy concert on Saturday at Orchestra Hall with the Detroit Sympathy Orchestra. It was fantastic! It was so good the idea came up of seeing itagain on Sunday. However, the construction is so god awful around Detroit that the idea eventually was nixed. Detroit is not a fun city to be stuck in at night. In any case, the music arrangements were amazing, and if they had CDs they would’ve sold like hotcakes.
I’ve been digging around the Internet for some way to purchase the CDs, but the CDs not out there for purchase. Best I found was a suggestion that they’re probably going to make a CD of the arrangements. I hope so.
Off to the left in the listening-to box is the in-game version of one of the songs that we heard at the concert, and then its orchestral arrangement, Final Fantasy IX - Vamo' alla Flamenco (Dear Friends Concert). The orchestral version skips twice early on, but it’s the only version out there. Hey, I tried.
