Apparently you’re not supposed to take the heatsink and CPU from one motherboard and put it into the other. Over this weekend, bad things happened and I ended up getting a new CPU overnighted on Monday. Everything is sailing smooth now, knock on wood. I did get a scare when latching down the CPU when I heard a nice *twang*. Well, there goes $200. I plugged in everything anyway, installed, and volià, here I am posting on the Internets.
I almost caved to getting a dual core. It was pointed that it was only $145 more than what I was getting, and that if I stopped buying skirts for a month, I could afford it. Although “dual core” does sound very attractive, I had to pass. $350 for a piece of hardware is tough for me to swallow.
Another thing you’re not supposed to do is put your keyboard in the dish washer. That’s a tip kids, write it down.
Oof, I’m too tired to think of anything else to write. No wait – here’s an inspiring video. ENJOY!

W00T! for CPU's working tho!
ya, dual-core is nice, but not needed unless you do alot of video editing or the like.
