I won against Brian in Putt-Putt a couple of weeks ago. I was behind in the first nine holes, but I calmly collected myself and took the lead with ease. Truly a notable event for my Web journal.
I also won a Scrabble game on Sunday. This past Mother’s Day my brother, the mother unit, and myself were involved in a game of Scrabble. The dictionary was broken out in the first round due to my “It may not be a word, but it looks like one” tactics. My attempt of “MANG” was thrown out, but “LAMERS” was allowed, partly because my brother built “NILE” off of it. We play by the lax Scrabble rules, what can I say. I was the first one to 75 points. VICTOLY!
I installed a new video card just now to make all my games look prettier, but upon installation I received a warning demanding more juice for the video card. In the meantime, it’s running underclocked. I haven’t decided if the warning I received was one of those “Please, we suggest that you don’t do it, because it might possibly maybe reboot your system” warnings, or one of those “The card will burst into buttery flames and magic smoke will begin pouring out of your system, seriously, don’t do it stupid” warnings.
If I don’t update tomorrow, it’s the latter.
