"Spybreak!" is the name of a song by the Propellerheads. You've heard it in the fight scene in The Matrix where Trinity and Neo go postal in the buliding where Morpheus is being held. A short Spybreak sound clip [417K] could jog your memory. The little pig was named after this, so he's got his own theme song.

Spybreak is the second guinea pig my brother and I have tamed. When Spybreak was first put down on the carpet, he took off like a bullet (he is aerodynamically perfect.) He came to the steps, and in the time he was trying to figure how they worked, I caught him and put him in his new house. From the start, we knew we had a wild beast. He was only palm-sized, but dynamite comes in small packages.

Spybreak's also a member of the Church of Pat.  Curious to what that is, you can always head over there see what the cult's all about.   He's also got some photos of his swineish self on Pat's web.

Here's me making the pig stay still for the picture. He's trying to make a break for it, but t'was no avail. He's slippery like a fish.  Where does he think he's going anyway? Last time he got away he just ended up under the computer desk and came out all cobwebby.
I don't know how we're going to get any "before he became a star" pictures if the mammal won't stay still for 2 seconds.

I know what you're thinking: what are the hobbies of this attractive mammal? Well, he seems to really like war.  My dad would watch a war movie on TV, and the piglet would start purring while the movie was goin on.  Also, when Owen was playing a game where he fired off a sniper rifle, the pig would purr every time the gun went off.

sabertooth pig!
Devil pig?

He guards his food bowl
Or Fairy Princess?

He also enjoys video games, which is no surprise since the PSX is only a few feet from his tank.  He seems to especially like the Tomb Raider series.  Owen put the little guy on his knee once facing the TV that had Tomb Raider on, and instead of his usual antics of trying to run off, he got all quiet and watched Lara.  Occasionally he'd turn around and meep at Owen, but then he'd go back to watching Lara Croft run and shoot bats and things.  He also has good taste in video games, since he also settles down to watch a little bit of the video game Final Fantasy 8.

Among his favorite things to eat are: Carrots, grass, buttons, and carpet.  He often likes to get a mouthful of your shirt or whatever and see how much of your clothing he can stuff in his mouth.  The only way to make him stop is to bobble him around until he lets go.  At this point Spybreak is through with games and tries to go straight for your jugular.  Plopping him back in his tank to let him have a "time-out" is a good idea, and you can watch him take out his high energy killing ablities out his cardboard house.  After tipping over his house, he runs around it half a dozen times to try to fix it.  When this doesn't happen, he sits in a corner, puffs himself up, and cries until someone puts his house right side up again.

Where's the snack?

Spybreak enjoys games that involve food. Here's one of his favorites, called "Find the Carrot Hiding in the Picture."

When hungry, Spybreak will hop around meeping.  He does this all the time, so we're always giving him more food.  Poking any object around his food bowl with cause him to come racing over and investigate the object with his snout.  Pouring food down into his food bowl causes his to put his head over the food bowl.  Thus the food falls on his head and bounces off.  He beeps, and pulls his head back.  Pouring more food into the bowl makes him again place his head over the food bowl, and the process repeats.

Spybreak's very sneaky and blends in with the darkness of night,.  If the pig gets away he just huddles down in a dark area where it's hard to find him, so sneaky. Red XIII on the other hand would sit in the middle of the carpet and think that he blended in.  Either that or he'd start eating the carpet.
